Noise or Poor Sound Quality During Playback
Mstick transmits digital audio as lossless PCM data, meaning there is no inherent degradation in sound quality.
However, if you excessively amplify audio using Mstick’s App Volume Control app or Sound Studio EQ, audio waveform distortion (clipping) may occur, resulting in noise.
When using third-party audio enhancement apps (e.g., Wavelet), additional distortion may occur. For this reason, we recommend setting each app’s volume to around 80% when using such apps.
※ Spotify Notice
Even at default settings, Spotify may cause waveform distortion. Please reduce the app’s volume to 90% using the App Volume Control feature.
※ Clipping:
A phenomenon in which audio becomes distorted when input or output levels exceed the allowable limits of the audio system.
