1. Equalizer

: A function that adjusts various frequencies of sound individually.

  • Sub Bass (16-60Hz)

: Sub-bass is the very low-frequency sound felt as vibrations rather than heard like other frequencies.

Equalization in this range can enrich the sound but may also reduce clarity, making it sound muddy.

  • Bass (60-250Hz)

: In music, this range is the main frequency of kick drums and bass guitars.

Proper amplification in this range can make the sound rich and warm, but excessive amplification can make it boomy and muddy.

  • Mid-Range (250-2kHz)

: This range contains many instrumental sounds and overall vocals, gunshots, horns, and metallic sounds.

Adjusting this range appropriately can affect the clarity and warmth of male vocals.

  • Mid-High (2k-4kHz)

: This frequency range provides clarity and freshness. Excessive amplification can result in distortion or peaky sounds.

  • High-Boost (6k-10kHz)

: This range enhances vocal transparency and adds clarity to the high notes of synthesizers or string instruments.

It includes crispness and sparkling sounds. Adjust 6k-8kHz if some frequencies sound like harsh metallic noises.

  • High (10k-16kHz)

: This range enriches vocals and increases transparency. It adds sharpness and cleanliness to instruments like hi-hats or cymbals.

However, over-amplification can cause hiss and noise.

※ Reference Frequency Ranges:

• Female Vocals: 150 – 1.6kHz

• Male Vocals: 60 - 500Hz

• Saxophone: 100 - 700Hz

• Guitar: 70 - 1.1kHz

• Cymbals: 200 - 10kHz

• Kick Drum: 60 - 4kHz

2. Crossover
: A function that divides the frequency range of sound.

3. Compressor:
A function that sets the sound volume to be consistent.

▶ How to Use Crossover and Compressor:
① Raise all volumes on the equalizer, then increase the master volume to create distortion.
② Adjust the Normalize factor and Threshold in the compressor until the distortion disappears.
(Set it to minimize damage to the original volume as much as possible)
※ High and low frequency selection can be adjusted in the crossover.

※ It is recommended to use the default presets.
